La Lavanda

La Lavanda” stands on a hill about 20km from Volterra and about 45km from the beaches of Cecina. It is a refurbished farmhouse divided into two independent flats which can be rented only together. The view from this house and its quietness are unique.

A salt water swimming pool (10x4x1.35m) is located a little bit uphill and only a few metres from the house.

The owners live in another house which is about 50-70m from “La Lavanda”. An asphalt road leads to the farmhouse.

Bigger Flat (80sqm)

This flat is upstairs and can be reached by going up a flight of stairs lined by lavender plants. From the portico, where guests can take their breakfast in the open air, you can get into the living room where there is a cooking area with an electric oven, a table with chairs, a sofa and Sat TV. There is a closet, next to the living room, and two bedrooms (a double one and one with twin beds). The twin-bedded room has a French window opening into the swimming pool area.

Smaller Flat (55sqm)

This flat is on the ground floor. The front door opens into a large living room where there is a cooking area with an electric oven, a table with chairs, Sat TV and a corner fireplace. From the living room, you can get to the double bedroom and to the bathroom with a shower. This flat is ideal for handicapped people too.

Dogs are welcome but their owners are kindly requested to prevent them from damaging the furniture and swimming in the pool. Shops and restaurants are about 2km from the house.
